It's positive!
The pregnancy test, that is. Surprised the heck out me, since we had to wait a while for Eli. I am still in shock. But I guess that God felt that we were ready this time, so here we are!
I did such a bad job recording my pregnancy with Eli because I was scared that something would go wrong. That just by writing it down would cause a miscarriage. I figure a blog is a safe way to go, since I can always erase it if I need to do so.
So here is what is going on so far. We are 4 weeks and 3 days along. My (predicted) due date at the moment is October 22nd. And all in all, I feel pretty good. Tired and a little queasy. Of course that might be due to the fact that I have given up caffeine, which is tough for me because I usually start off the day with a can of Pepsi One.
I am excited about the timing of this pregnancy. I like the fact that the baby is due in October... it is not in the summer, it is not near Christmas, and it is separated from Eli's birthday by a few months. Plus, Eli will be close to 3-years-old, which means that he will (hopefully) be able to understand the concept of a little brother or sister a little more and welcome him/her a little more readily.
